Samsung have created a couple of fantastic LCD monitors, one of which is a wireless USB display. Another feature about these two monitors is that they sit at desk level rather then on a stand allowing for a screen to be inline with your laptop rather then a few inches above.
The two screens were on show at CES 2009. They are numbered the LD220 and the LD190X. Each monitor runs in a 16:9 aspect ratio (wide screen) and both are HD too with the LD190X (19″) being capable of 720p and the LD220 (22″) being capable of full 1080p HD images. Connectivity on the larger model means that it can be connected via a USB cable eliminating the need for a VGA output on your laptop. The 19 inch screen has Wireless USB built in allowing you to wirelessly connect to the screen. It’s a great idea although probably not needed on a small screen that will be sat inches away from your laptop.
The 19″ monitor is supposedly better on the energy saving side too with a drop of up to 33% being possible in energy consumption… that’s not bad at all.
