Panasonic has announced the launch two notebooks, named CF-52 and CF-74 that extend the Toughbooks family. As the term suggests, these models are new semi-rugged notebooks. MacBook Air has been hacked and that too in just two minutes. Can you believe it? In a Pwn to Own contest sponsored by TippingPoint, a team of security researchers won the prize of $10,000 for hacking a MacBook Air in such a short time.
ISE security researchers, Charlie Miller, Jake Honoroff and Mark Daniel hacked the slimmest notebook on Thursday, which was the second day of the competition.
On the first day participants only attacked on networks of the operating system, in which nobody succeeded. On the second day participants attacked on default client-side applications such as Web browser, e-mail, IM.
