Nothing quite lights up a room like the Discovery’s Rainbow In My Room — it’s also one of the best leprechaun-catching tools available on the market. Using LED lights, the gadget creates a prismatic rainbow arc on your wall or on your ceiling. It uses a motion sensor that turns the rainbow on and off when you’re near, and an automatic shut-off assures that you won’t over-rainbow your room. For sale for $30 dollars and available early October, it’s the cheapest way to achieve faux happiness without moisture and white light.

The Audio Shaker is a device which captures noise such as your voice, claps, dog barks or anything else. You then shake up the container and pour out the jumbled up sound. You can choose to pour out just a few words too, or even add more to them to create a different sound. I guess the point of it all is that you pour out the sound and then interpret what the meaning of life is or something :S I have no clue to be honest.

The platter itself turns to show the hours, and then the read head indicates the minutes. Clever stuff.
MikroSol was built way back in 1995 and was capable of flying at 4.8m/s powered by solar energy. Over the next few years it was replaced with a few other models such as the NanoSol. Maybe solar is the way forwards for planes. I think it would take a HEFTY amount to carry weight though.
