One of the most revolutionary communication tools of the 20th century – the mobile phone may have many advantageous functions, making it life simpler for most individuals. However, the risk on life is equally high. Earlier, there have been many case-studies stating that mobile phones are injurious to children’s health and could lead to cancer in adults. This little digital thermometer is handy for letting you work out the temperature of any surface with out making contact with it. The accuracy of the thermometer is +/- 4.5 degrees F which isn’t too bad for getting a quick measurement. The thermometer is both light weight and portable and is useful for PC maintenance, inspection, food prep to name a few.

If you can’t bring the microbial parasite to the lab, bring the lab to the microbial parasite, goes the thinking of the Berkeley researchers who invented a microscope to attach to cellphones and smartphones, using the phones’ own cameras.
