
Part Foundry is currently working on a dongle that will bring the long-desired GPS feature to the iPhone. Branded as locoGPS, the device promises true GPS backed by open source software, but if the teaser video is any indication, it may not be the GPS experience you’re expecting.
The photo you see above is only a concept design. In its current stage of development, the locoGPS is a rough piece of hardware that uses a slightly confusing toggle process to get GPS working on any Jailbroken iPhone (they are also in the testing phases for an iPod touch solution). Read more… »

Apple iPhone has always been in news for some or the other reason. Before the release the company came up with a publicity stunt. When it launched, the sales figures made the top news. After a month’s time, the news of the price cut rolled out on the websites. Later, the suing cases against Apple were more on the top of the news. Winning the the Invention of the year award was also ranking the news parameter. The long-awaited phone is finally going to arrive in UK this month. When the first time there was news about the car-maker to produce a phone, we knew that the handset design will be as beautiful as the designs of the car.
Porsche has announced that it will release their first phone, the Porsche P’9521 in the United Kingdom in early December. Porsche had joined hands with French partner Sagem to design the stylish and sleek Porsche P’9521 that is made of aluminum. Read more… »

If we were a Chinese company that made knockoff phones, we probably wouldn’t make a knockoff of the HTC Touch. Not that the phone is bad—it’s somewhat usable—but putting Windows Mobile 5 on any phone when WM6 is the standard now is kind of a bad idea. However, we would follow in their footsteps and beef up hardware features to include a GPS, a 2-megapixel camera and fingerprint security. We just wouldn’t put Windows Mobile 5 on it.
