As lovely as the D2 is, we’ve always had a secret wish for it to offer up a bit more internal capacity. Apparently the higher-ups at Cowon have heard our inner cries, as a 16GB edition of the player is now available through JetMall. Aside from being more capacious, nothing else has changed, but if this was just the thing to push you over the edge, you can hand over your $240 right now and join the club.

Quite frankly, Teclast’s M25 was darn close to being solid, but it’s pretty safe to say the M26 trumped it tenfold by ditching the scroll wheel in exchange for a few more millimeters of precious touchscreen. This admittedly sexy PMP features a 2.6-inch 400 x 240 resolution capacitive touch panel, support for RMVB, RM, FLV and AVI file formats, TV out and Microsoft’s PlayFX abilities, too. Judging by the interface shot, it’ll also handle FM radio and a slew of music / photo formats, and while there’s no definitive price just yet, you can look forward to choosing between black and white whenever it lands.

The new Spinn and IAmoled (pictured) and Wing are easily worth the price of admission. The Spinn uses iriver’s new SPINN analog toggle wheel that we spotted on that APlayer DAP, but also tosses in a 3.2-inch 480 x 272 screen, Bluetooth 2.0, Flash 2.0 gaming and DMB in regions where available. Capacities hit 4GB, 8GB and 16GB of flash memory. Iriver is also prepping the IAmoled Photo Tank media storage unit, which packs a 80GB or 160GB HDD and 4.1-inch AMOLED screen. The unit uses the same SPINN interface and matches the Spinn on specs, but adds TV out and SD / CF slots. Finally, iriver’s Wing ultraportable handheld features the Windows CE Pro OS, WiFi, a QWERTY Read more… »
