The most-awaited mobile telephone - Levi’s has finally launched. When we first reported about it, we too excited that the branded pants manufacturer will soon roll out their first handset and thus will enter the technology industry. Later, rumors said that it will be available through Carphone Warehouse.
This time, ModeLabs Group, a customized design manufacturer (CDM) specialized in mobile phones, has introduced the first Levi’s Handset in Hong Kong. Several thousands of phones have already been ordered through the Levi’s Store, Broadway, City Call, PCCW and Show Room CSL and many more.

The purpose of this concept is to explore innovative products for the near future. Nowadays, more people use cellphones to substitute for cameras and music players. The cellphone becomes a digital Swiss army knife in the new era. Because of the light-power use and carry-on property, the combination of cellphone and camera is the most successful one. Instead of relying on a big touchscreen or software solutions only, this concept focused on the essential value of an easy-use cellphone.

Compact mobile phone designed for Sony Ericsson. This mobile phone is a personal, friendly object which is wearable around the neck. The user can use the three buttons (Busy, Accept, Reject) to handle the calls. The ‘Accept’ and ‘Reject’ buttons work in the regular fashion while the ‘Busy’ button allows the user to record a message such as ‘I am in a meeting right now’. It’s been a hot minute since we’ve heard any marginally believable chatter surrounding the so-called PSP phone, but the idea of such a device has been given new life thanks to Sony Computer Entertainment co-chief operating officer Jim Ryan. Apparently, Mr. Ryan told the India Times that the “PlayStation is a proven success and so is Sony Ericsson,” and that “convergence with the two arms working together is definitely plausible.” Granted, he did note that it could be quite some time before such a device would see the market, and that if indeed it did, it would likely resemble a handheld gaming system with a phone blended in and not vice-versa. So yeah, we’re not really any closer to knowing whether this thing truly is somewhere in the pipeline, but here’s to hoping that we don’t have to wait another year or so to find out more.
