
Solar power is a great source to get power to your devices. It might not be the quickest way to charge something, but solar energy is free once you pay for the initial parts. Apple have filed a patent which involves placing solar cells on to portable devices.
This would allow an extra source of power for your phone allowing you to charge and use it where ever there was sunlight present. The photovoltaic cells could be stacked under the LCD allowing for a large solar surface to suck up the suns rays. Check out the Czeers MK1 prototype solar speedboat, a 10-meter long rig that manages to pack in 14 square meters of solar panels to power an 80kw electric motor. Everyone knows the “Go Green” slogan. You also have an idea that it is important to develop technological or electronic products that are eco-friendly. Greenpeace had dropped Nokia from 1st position to the 9th spot last year. In order to again attain the first place, Nokia developed their first green phone named 3110 Evolve.
