The Bloodhound project is a three year mission lead by Richard Noble that will see a landspeed record of over 1000MPH set. The car, named the Bloodhound SSC (super sonic car) should be capable of Mach 1.4.

In this “sport”? there are not many restrictions placed which allows for cars to be developed how they wish. The knowledge used and shared wont be of much benefit to other sports such as F1 which is why they can be so open about it.

We have mentioned Asus a few times over the last month or so. The first mention was a 3.75G mobile broadband connection built in to their new range of laptops. The next was a hard drive upgrade. What we are looking at now is a touch screen version that is said to be coming out next year sometime.

As well as getting a touch screen, the processor could be getting an upgrade too. Asus are just waiting for Intel to make available it’s dual core Atom processor. The price of this unit should run at about $300 read more »

Motorola’s Q11 was nearing a release in Brazil and, according to ZumoBlog, everything is now set to finally get official tomorrow. That, however, hasn’t stopped the site from getting its hands on the phone today, and it’s thankfully snapped a few pics of it to give folks a peek at what’s in store. Of course, the pics of the Q9 lookalike don’t exactly tell the whole story, as the big news is added WiFi and GPS, and, unfortunately, a lack of 3G. Still, if that’s a trade-off you can get behind, you can keep watch on the site for a promised video hands-on, and set aside the 899 Brazilian reais (or just over $400) it’ll cost you to get an unlocked version of the phone.

Fring is a fairly popular application that runs on various mobile phone operating systems. What it does is allow you to bring together various applications such as Skype, MSN Messenger, Google Talk and put them all in to one program. Fring has now launched for the iPhone 3G.

The program works on Wi-Fi only for VoIP calls. If you are using a 3G connection then an error will pop up telling you to go away basically. The idea behind Fring is fantastic as it does allow an “all in one” type solution.
