We never get bored of the tons of USB flash drives that come past our way here. They come in tons of shapes and sizes with various capacities. This latest comes from Imation and is named the Atom Flash Drive. The Atom is a tiny thumbdrive which is about the size of a paper clip and measures 30.5 x 13 x 5.6mm in size. Capacities for the Atom range from 1GB all the way up to 8GB which is a fairly decent size considering how tiny the thing is.
On the technical side the drive is embedded with SIP (System in Package) which uses NAND flash memory packaging processes to make the drive extra small. Atom has a capless design and has a small loop to allow it to attach to devices such as your mobile phone helping you not to leave it behind to get swiped.
128-bit AES encryption software is also standard allowing you to protect parts of the thumbdrive that you do not want others to get a hold of.
