Chinese-based handheld manufacturer E-Ten Information Systems has launched its latest slim smartphone device, named the Glofiish M800.
The X800 comes equipped with slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, 3.5G — an upgrade to the 3G mobile telephony protocol to enhance network capacity, as well as a VGA screen for high-quality resolution.
In terms of connectivity, it is compatible with quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and triband UMTS/HSDPA cellular technologies. It also features touch sensitive screen, Bluetooth, a 2 mega-pixel camera, 64MB of RAM with microSD memory card slot and a built-in GPS receiver.
Powered by Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6 operating system, it bundles a direct-push technology that automatically delivers the user’s e-mail from Exchange server. Moreover, it also allows full Microsoft Office suite for viewing, editing, and creating documents on the go.
This new smartphone also sports a second camera on the front that offers 0.3 mega pixels and CMOS style. It provides a battery life of up to four hours of talktime in one charge.
E-Ten sells Glofiish M800 Smartphone for $750 (approx. Rs. 30,000) in US.
