Whenever mobile phones were designed, no one actually developed one for left-handed or right-handed separately. It has always been a common handset for both the of hand-users.
Sony Ericsson PXi Bence Bogar, an independent mobile-concept designer, has developed a new sleek mobile phone for lefties, called the Sony Ericsson PXi.
Housed in magnesium case, this ergonomic mobile device carries 3.3-inch wide touchscreen display, stereo speakers and a 5-megapixel Cybershot camera. It also has the capacity to store 2 card slots for the users who are looking for greater memory space of above 8GB.
Especially designed for lefties, this unique phone can be easily used by right-handers. The screen of PXi can rotate automatically and is optimized for both finger and stylus input.
A jogdial and a secondary touchscreen interface have been embedded into the unit to adapt whatever application is open.
Sadly, it is just a concept phone. However, one thing that is noticeable that if it is developed for lefties then why is the jogdial on the right side.
Anyways, I am waiting for this phone to officially launch. Even though I am not a lefty, I would yet like to see left-handers using the device with ease.
